Cleaning an air fryer is generally easy and quick. Most parts, such as the basket and drip tray, are removable and dishwasher safe, making them easy to clean. For stubborn dirt, these parts can also be soaked in warm water with dishwashing liquid and then scrubbed with a soft sponge or brush.
The inside of the airfryer can be wiped with a damp cloth, but avoid too much water to prevent damage to the electronics. The heating element on top can be cleaned with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and food residues for optimal airflow.
Thanks to the use of hot air instead of oil, an air fryer also produces fewer unpleasant odours and grease splashes than a traditional deep fryer, making it easier to clean the outside and the kitchen around it. Regular maintenance after each use will keep your air fryer hygienic and in top condition.
